Whatever you did to the drawing of the girl makes this look fantastically vintage. Another amazing treatment I'd love to know how you accomplished!

OHHH THAT I CAN ANSWER. :3

Most of it can be achieved thanks to a tutorial I love love love: [link]

And then textures, and layers and layers. Some of the trick is to apply the texture to the piece, make a copy, and then put the COPY on a layer over the piece without the texture, and fade the textured one out, so that you get the texture but it doesn't much up your colors as much. That tutorial is a goldmine, though. This has some good links too: [link]

I've been on a vintage kick lately! :D Instead of the green and cyan tones it says to add in that tutorial, I added some red and yellow tones to this one, too, to keep it summery, so that's part of the trick. :D Gotta play with what the tutorial says.

Thanks! I will def check all of that out. You are kind of like the queen of using textures I've noticed. That's not something I've gotten very good at yet.

Don't get discouraged, though. :) I only started using textures this year (literally, January), so it's a pretty quick thing to pick up if you use it enough. There's some really good tutorials here for textures, and... there's no real skill involved. Just... cycling through the different layer styles until you find the one that works (or doesn't, and you switch to a different texture or modify where the texture affects by erasing). :D
